Latest research published in the February issue of Cancer Clinical Research suggests that the extract of green tea interferes with cancer cell’s ability to move towards the nearby healthy tissue, and therefore might prevent the spread of cancer within the body. Chemical substances in tea some how activate Rho protein which interfers with “actin” another substance that is known to be responsible for the mobility of the cells. So, activation of Rho some how seems to prevent the mobility of the cells.
