So, what is your plan for Valentine’s day? I hope to not do much. Jaya is not feeling very well this weekend - she is down with an ear infection - the third one this season. I am sure I am not the first one to say this, but schools and day care centers, are breeding grounds for ear infections! Doc recommended Prevenar which is a vaccine for ear infection, but I refuse to give my little one one more vaccine! Hopefully Jaya will feel better tomorrow now that Amoxicillin has been started.

Not that I have the time to take advantage of this…but its a tempting thought to implement the Valentine’s day Menu from chow.com. Sadly, no mention of tea, but lost of wines make it to their menu! We have become such a “wine” culture! That’s ok. I will have my favorite cup of Mirik at the start of the day.

In the same article in the comments section some one refers to the unfortunate name given to the bottle of wine! Clicking on that commentors name, I ended up at a Chowhound post about other readers commenting on unfortunate names of products which are extremely funny in English! And finally, our dear friend Amy Sherman of Cooking with Amy Blog fame writes in her blog that she has published her first book/booklet Winepassports, about Wines from Portugal. This will be a welcome addition to the Joshi household as we have absolutely no idea about wines from Portugal!!
