Note to reader: One of our customers was getting married in India and wanted to give gifts to their wedding guests. So, they asked Jaya Teas to come up with an elegant little gift which would remind the people of their trip to India and the wedding. So, we put together a nice little gift package to them, which was presented to them in the form of a web page they could access and see. Unfortunately the timing didn’t work out for us, but otherwise even the bride said that the gift was a perfect one for her guests.

Please accept our congratulations on your engagement, and your wedding. We are thrilled to be a part of your wedding function. I am happy to inform you that, as luck would have it, we have just received some new teas which are packaged in the form of very elegant nylon tea pods. These elegant pods would make a great wedding gift! Interestingly, we haven’t even released them to our customers yet - you would be the first customer to receive these teas!

For your wedding gift, I am planning on putting together three tea sampler caddies packed in a nice box, wrapped in a beautiful wrapping paper. The pictures should give you an idea of what the packing will look like, although the wrapping will be different, more suitable for a wedding.

There will be three caddies inside the box, each of which will carry five very elegant, nylon tea pods. Each caddy will carry tea from a different region - I propose to include one high grown Darjeeling tea, one tea from the Darjeeling valley, and a third one from the Assam valley.
Inside, we could include a small card which welcomes your guests to your wedding, and provides a small note on the teas of India. We can include information on the tea growing regions of India, the role of Rajasthanis in the tea industry, and how it all relates to your wedding. The card will then invite them to enjoy the tea during their leisure hours.

The small note will also include brewing instructions, and how the tea should be consumed (for instance, adding milk with Assam, but not with Darjeeling).

There are several additional things we can do to customize the boxes for you. For instance, you could send us the wrapping you are using for other gifts, so that there is consistency between what you are already doing and this gift. We can also include stationery similar to what you have for your wedding, provided you can send it to us.

The text of the insert can be agreed to with you before we finalize the details. Finally, we can even change the tags of the pods, but that would be additional expense, and given the short time frame, I would not advice this.

Finally, for shipping, I would recommend using a reputed carrier like Federal Express. Its a bit expensive, but you will get the products there when you need them. Alternately, we can package these boxes in one large box, which you or one of you guests can take with them as “checked-in” luggage.
