Jaya Teas Supported The Walk For Breast Cancer Awareness

Our neighbor Melissa Sturno recently walked the marathon distance Walk For Breast Cancer Awareness in NY City on October 2-3 organized by Avon Foundation, with the intention of raising money for breast cancer awareness. Jaya Teas is proud to have supported Melissa in her efforts to raise breast cancer. Read more about it in the Sept. newsletter
Our customers also pitched in to help Melissa by buying our products. In return, Jaya Teas donated a full 5% of the tea purchases made on the website to Avon Walk Foundation. After a long wait, Jaya Teas, LLC has announced the opening of its webstore. "With the opening of the webstore, tea lovers in US and Canada can finally get outstanding teas of single origin delivered to their door step", said Ms. Madhulika Pareek. "At present we have an outstanding collection of first flush teas, a few autumnals and a couple of Reserve Oolongs, which should interest the folks in search of outstanding teas", she continued. She also said that the store is currently accepting Visa and Master Card, but will soon start accepting American Express and Discover. All tea lovers are invited to browse through the store, and if they find something lacking, please feel free to inform the management of the store.

These downloads are available free of cost to any one interested in acquiring them. The desktop wallpapers depicts the trademark logo of Jaya Teas in various colors and designs. When asked about the design itself, Mrs. Madhulika Pareek said, "These designs evoke the clean, crisp, clutterless, simple lifestyle the Jaya brand espouses". Madhulika wants the people to feel that when they deal with Jaya, they will be dealing with a company that encourages simple living, while enjoying the best the world has to offer. Website Improvement: Postcard Feature Added

Jaya Teas is proud to announce a new module to its website which allows people to send and receive electronic post cards. "There are a lot of e-postcard services around", said Madhulika, President of Jaya Teas, "but none of them specifically addressed the need for cards that would allow me to invite people to tea. So we decided to add this new service."
The "tea invites" are funny, eclectic and will bring a smile to the recepients. There are many other categories, including one for Birthday, another on "Scenes from India", and one more on "Attitude (positive!)". There are a few "Get well" cards and a few on "Living Life". Please use the cards and let us know what you think.

Jaya Teas Webstore Opening Scheduled For April, 2004

There is a lot of behind the scene working going on for the opening of the webstore of Jaya Teas. It is amazing, the number of things one has to do to get a business going. Despite the fact that we have been operating the wholesale side of the business for over a year now, most of that business has been through personal contacts, phone calls and visits to the clients. The retail side of the business is just a different animal all together.
The sheer number of tasks one has to undertake to get an enterprise like this going is simply amazing. But we have been guided by a few principles which have helped us develop a focus for our activities. Things are coming along fine. The teas have been ordered, the packaging is in development, the URL has been registered, the webdesigner has been hired, the webstore is being developed, etc etc. The good news is, everything is in order and on time. Now we just have to make sure that nothing falls through the cracks so that when we get started, the retail customers receive the kind of service our wholesale customers have been getting - outstanding service.
So, if you are not busy in April, please check back us and take a look at the selections we have for you. Here is an added incentive; check back with us for we are planning to have a lot of goodies for you, our new customers, to help you try us out for the first time.
